Welcome to Sustainable Tiverton.
Sustainable Tiverton is part of the Transition Network, which inspires and supports communities to become more sustainable in the face of climate change – building resilience, supporting bio-diversity and reducing CO2 emissions. We encourage local projects that combat global warming and environmental damage; by supporting community groups to set up, run activities and events, get publicity, and work with others nearby.

Dates for your diary
First Saturday of the month: Surplus Food Cafe – takeaway on 1st August 2020 at the New Hall, 12-1.30pm
Thursday 30th July: Sustainable Tiverton AGM on Zoom, details were in our July newsletter.
For a few months our surplus food collections were diverted to CHAT during lock-down to help with emergency parcels and the ReROOTed aprons lain idle in their box in the store room but no more! …. ReROOTed has been ReBOOTed!!
The food is free, though donations are welcome.
Our huge thanks to Tiverton Town Council for coming to our rescue and giving us our temporary venue!
We observe strict social distancing regulations and serve food in takeaway containers.
If you have your own, please bring them and we will fill them up with scrumptious food. There will be a choice of main courses and desserts, we will not be serving hot drinks.
Access to the New Hall is in Barrington Street, the alley from Bampton St may be closed.
We are so excited to be getting our aprons out again … we have missed you all!
Please bring your own containers, especially if you would like to take away food for more than one meal!
